Tarlac Convention and Visitors Bureau

General Tourism Information

Tarlac offers new places, various events and whole lot of unexpected things waiting to be discovered. Be a part of this emerging community!

It’s a good time to visit Tarlac all-year round! Every January, enjoy the Malatarlak Festival and the Anniversary of the Enshrinement of the Relic of the True Cross (the relic is exposed to the public for veneration on January 30). From January to April, it’s the best time to trek to Mount Pinatubo, Timanguyyob Falls and other adventure spots.

During Holy Week, go on retreats and soul searching at the Monasterio de Tarlac. Every April 9, Araw ng Kagitingan is commemorated at the Capas National Shrine. From May to August, it’s time to explore the water rapids of San Jose and Mayantoc.

In September is the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross (the relic is again exposed to the public for veneration). And from November to December, Tarlac comes alive with Belenismo sa Tarlac, a display of Tarlaqueños talents through the art of belen-making.

Come, revisit and rediscover!!! Tara NA Sa TARLAC!

The Tarlac Convention and Visitors Bureau when founded in September 2006 aimed to be the lead organization in transforming Tarlac as a major tourist destination. Its mission is to make visitors aware of Tarlac as melting pot of arts and culture, cradle of heroes, history, agricultural and ecological system.

From seven (7) dedicated trustees, it grew to 30 plus members and are continuously recruiting for more active members which consist mainly of hotels, restaurants, tourism-related industries, schools and media groups.
